I read a lot of reviews about getting a size larger,
DON'T!!! I put regular socks on originally and I thought at
first that it was a good thing I got a size bigger. Then
when I actually went to put them on to use I was wearing my
thick warm wool socks and as I walked around my heel started
slipping up and down. So finally I spoke with my mom who has
the exact same pair and she said she wears her regular shoe
size even with the thick socks. I had to return and
I really wanted to love these shoes for my upcoming trip to
Germany . But ... They are extremely heavy and very bulky.
Although I'm sure they would keep your feet very warm and
dry. I read reviews about sizing and I first order a size up
from my normal shoe. I usually wear a 6 I ordered a 7 ...
Way to big ... I then went into the store and tried on a 6
.. Way to small.... Then ordered a 6.5 they fit better but
we're still too snug so unfortunately I will be returning

I can tell this boot is different from the rest. I tried it
on and felt the installation thickness, which should keep my
feet warm. I work outdoors and at time will stand for hours
on end without movement and hope this boot will keep me

degrades with time. Our pair had been worn a couple of
times, then went into the closet for a couple of years. My
daughter recently wore them again to walk to class, and the
entire toe box section of the boot split open. I have many
pair of Sorel and other brands that are used seasonally or
infrequently, and have never had something like this happen.
Do not expect the normal North Face quality with this
product, and beware, TNF warranty on footwear is only a
